Berenberg Verlag was founded in 2004 and has since established itself as a permanent fixture among independent publishers. Diverse book productions for a sophisticated publishing house
The spectrum of jointly produced titles ranges from bibliophile half-linen volumes to high-quality paperbacks. For many titles from Berenberg Verlag, half-cloth bindings with thread stitching were realized. Characteristic of these are the embossed spines, which give the books a special feel and visual depth. One example of this is the title The Empress of Galápagos, in which the cloth spine, headband and printed cover were carefully coordinated.
Numerous paperbacks were also produced. These editions are characterized by their sturdy adhesive binding, restrained but effective cover design and precise workmanship. Here, too, the focus is on quality craftsmanship – regardless of the type of binding.
Each project was individually coordinated to meet the publisher’s design requirements.
