Individual project consulting

Production consulting

consulting,
Samples of papers and materials, blind volumes and embossing tests – these are all experiences and services that make up our quality awareness. We support you in the design and realization of your book project, so that your individual content also receives an appropriate haptic framework.

Conventional orders: Professional order processing, sustainable production

Regardless of whether you commission just one, a few or many book projects, our customer management team provides everyone with the customer service you want: attentive and supportive, timely reminders and, of course, open and available for any questions. This means that you are always up to date with your project, receive a perfect product and we remain in your memory for a long time. Our production is also sustainable: we are increasingly using paper produced in a climate-neutral way (e.g. Schleipen printing paper), purchase 100% green electricity for our production, offset our unavoidable CO2 emissions with ClimatePartner and talk to our suppliers and service providers about more sustainable products and practices. And of course we have the right mix of digital and offset printing.

Digital productions: Industry 4.0, interfaces and high order automation

We offer special added value for our publishing customers with our digital productions. This does not refer to the pure production of the printed matter in digital printing, but rather a special way of processing production orders with our customers: smart, fast and without major recurring effort. The focus here is on setting up a workflow that realizes efficient ordering, production and handling processes based on the various requirements of the publishers.

Our products

Books

Our core product is the production of individual volumes (hardcover) and brochures (softcover). We produce for many national and international publishers, agencies and industrial clients. Our industrial production is characterized by high-quality productions in various edition ranges. We can output your content using offset and digital printing and offer a wide range of papers and materials, processing options and finishing techniques. Find out more about our options for the production of fixed volumes and brochures:

As a leading producer of hardcovers in Germany, we offer a wide range of design options. Hardcovers are understood to mean the insertion of a book block into an enclosing cover, whereby the connection is only made via the covers and the spine is not firmly glued to the cover. The book block itself is slightly smaller than the cover. The fixed binding is characterized by high reading and processing quality because it is easy to open, particularly stable and durable.

The industrial book blocks range from 70x100mm to 309x375mm and can have a thickness of between 4mm and 80mm, depending on the format. A wide variety of cover materials and finishes are possible for the covers, the boards can be flexible or have different board thicknesses and the book blocks can be thread-sewn or perfect bound.

A significant proportion of books are produced as brochures or softcovers. A cover is firmly glued to the spine of the block. This quick and simple method enables high production speeds. We provide our customers with further options that significantly improve the layout and reading quality: thread-sewn brochures, saddle-stitched and gatefold brochures.

Hardcover

Linen and half-linen bindings

Flex and plastic bindings
