Declaration of Principles FSC®
With the declaration on the FSC® core labor standards (derived from the ILO core labor standards), we assure that we comply with basic requirements on the following topics:
No employees under the age of 15 are employed. No person under the age of 18 is employed in hazardous or heavy work, unless it is part of an apprenticeship program in accordance with approved national laws and regulations.
Persons between the ages of 13 and 15 are permitted only to perform light work, and such employment shall not interfere with their schooling nor be harmful to their health or development. In particular, where children are subject to compulsory education, they may work only outside of school hours during normal daytime working hours. The certificate holder prohibits the worst forms of child labor.

Over 600 Trees for the Forests of Tomorrow
Through our tree sponsorship program, we support sustainable reforestation in Germany. Together with Baumpaten Deutschland, we help reforest damaged forest areas, create new habitats, and strengthen our native forests for the long term.
Our tree sponsorship program covers a total of 633 trees that are being planted as part of sustainable reforestation projects in Germany. In this way, we are taking concrete action to promote climate protection and a future worth living.
New forests provide a home for numerous animal and plant species. Through our sponsorship, we support the preservation of biodiversity and help create valuable habitats for future generations.
Droughts, storms, and pest infestations have severely damaged many German forests. Baumpaten Deutschland is committed to transforming fallow land into resilient and sustainable forests by planting tree species suited to the local conditions.
According to our certificate, this sponsorship corresponds to a verified reduction of 1,709,100 kilograms of CO₂. In this way, our commitment becomes a visible and measurable contribution to protecting our environment.

EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR)
Beltz Grafische Betriebe GmbH is committed to the sustainable and responsible use of resources. With the introduction of the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) from December 30, 2024, we are taking a further step towards protecting the world’s forests and making our production processes even more environmentally friendly.

- We actively support the objectives of the European Green Deal for the protection of biodiversity.
- Transparency and traceability are a matter of course for us - we work closely with our partners to comply with the legal requirements of the EUDR.
