As in previous years, we brought the year 2023 to a close together in a cozy and festive atmosphere. We ended the year with delicious food and exciting conversations at the Beltz Grafische Betriebe in Bad Langensalza with our 2023 Christmas party. Our employees came together on December 14, 2023 from 2 p.m. and used the afternoon to review the many exciting events of the past year. The workforce was also pleased to hear a number of positive announcements from the management.
Christmas party 2023: Highlights and schedule
The 2023 Christmas party at Beltz Grafische Betriebe was not only accompanied by delicious hot drinks and good food, it was also filled with several highlights that made the party a varied afternoon to round off the year.
An opening speech with a joyful announcement
The first highlight took place during the opening speech by authorized signatory Mr. Herrmann. In a warm speech at the start of our 2023 Christmas party, he announced some good news: Starting next year, all employees will receive an additional day of vacation. Employees who have been with the company for 10 years or more can even look forward to another day off. And for every 20 or 30 years of service, there is an additional day of vacation. This generous gesture underlines the management’s commitment to the well-being and appreciation of its employees.
A buffet that leaves nothing to be desired
The 2023 Christmas party was accompanied by a festive buffet, which was put together in collaboration with the renowned caterer Schills Schenke from Weberstedt. From delicious starters and a varied selection of main courses and side dishes to tempting desserts, the buffet offered a wide range of gastronomic delicacies to satisfy everyone’s wishes.
A raffle with only raffle tickets
Later in the event, a raffle ensured a good atmosphere. The motto was: every lot is a win! The entertaining event not only promised numerous surprises, but also created a sociable and informal atmosphere at our 2023 Christmas party.
Small goodies for the workforce
The employees were also delighted to receive special gifts. Cookbooks and the “review book” from the last celebration were distributed, allowing everyone to reminisce about the last few months while enjoying good conversation.

The 2023 Christmas party was also used to provide space for former employees of Beltz Grafische Betriebe. Not only active employees were part of the event, but also retired colleagues spent the afternoon with us and were able to get an idea of the changes that have taken place in recent years. This resulted in a colorful mix of colleagues and a special kind of exchange among them.
Looking back on 2023: What did the year have in store for us?
The year 2023 was a special one for Beltz Grafische Betriebe. Between exciting orders in large and small runs, close cooperation with our renowned partners and valuable customers and the training and further education of our employees, our machinery has undergone a modernization that is now indispensable.
The second of our two new Ventura MC 160 book sewing machines from Muller Martini was put into operation at the beginning of the year. In addition, the new 3692 gathering machine has enriched our production since the beginning of 2023. Since then, this upgrade has enabled us to offer a broader portfolio with significantly better quality print products, thereby strengthening our company at the same time.
In addition to modernizing our production, we also focused on personnel development. We offer our employees regular opportunities for further training and education, thereby challenging and promoting the respective skills and development of our workforce.
Our team is characterized not least by the exceptionally high number of longstanding employees. We have a large number of employees who have been with the company for 10, 15 years or more. We are also strengthening our team with new additions – four new trainees found their way into our company in the fall.
Over the last few decades, Beltz Grafische Betriebe has developed into a valuable employer in the region around Bad Langensalza. We have achieved a lot in the past – and with our goals for 2024, we are on track to continue our development.
